Chuck Wagon Restaurant in Brownsville

This place is really close to my house so it's dangerous. I am one of the "regulars" at the Chuck wagon. Amazing breakfast diner that is locally famous.

Have been going for over 15 years w friends w family and my kids simply the best place for great soups and breakfast meals done right in front of you and like u are family no matter if your first time or 100th its a must go.. Nostalgia unbelievable. From a time long past . i can not say enough about the place hope its there forever so my kids can take theirs as well !!! Much love

I love this place. Every time I come in for breakfast I am greeted and feel like I’m at home. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a hidden gem.

Down home cooking in a homey atmosphere. Quick kitchen and pleasant service at fair prices. Cash only. Frequently a wait for breakfast seating, especially on weekends. A local fave.

If you like good home-cooked food this out-of-the-way restaurant is perfect The staff are friendly, the food it's good and the portions are substantial. The menu is limited but with enough offerings to find something you'll like, and the price is very reasonable. After eating there a couple of times, I can see why it was highlighted on the popular Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.My mother is enjoying her bowl of homemade chicken soup in the photo.

The staff is very nice and make us feel like family. We sat at the counter and enjoyed our experience interacting with everyone. The breakfasts are large and filling. Thank you for a great start to our day!

It's been here for many years but this weekend was the first time I stopped since new owners took over. It is much the same as before with regard to menu items and atmosphere. Still cash only, still very friendly staff. BUT, the place is clean. Gone is the coating of grease and dust that had previously coated everything inside.

The best breakfast I have had in such a long time. Fantastic staff, they make you feel like you're having breakfast at home
